Cyflwyniad i Ymchwil (20 credyd) 2024-25
PCC-1002
2024-25
Ysgol Seicoleg a Gwyddor Chwaraeon
Modiwl - Semester 1
20 credits
Module Organiser: Awel Vaughan-Evans
Overview

Mi fydd y modiwl yn cyflwyno dulliau ymchwil gwahanol i fyfyrwyr, ac yn trafod y prif bethau y dylid eu hystyried wrth ddylunio ymchwil (e.e. moeseg, dibynadwyedd a dilysrwydd). Yn ogystal, mi fydd y modiwl yn cyflwyno ystadegau disgrifiadol a chasgliadol i fyfyrwyr, ac yn trafod y gwahaniaeth rhwng dulliau ansoddol a meintiol.

Bob wythnos, mi fydd myfyrwyr yn mynychu darlith (2 awr o hyd) a gweithdy (1 awr o hyd). Yn y ddarlith, byddwch yn dysgu ffeithiau, theorïau, a rhesymeg dulliau ymchwil. Mi fydd y gweithdai wythnosol yn rhoi cyfle i chi drafod y wybodaeth yn fwy manwl, ac i ddatblygu eich sgiliau dadansoddi. Bydd rhai o'r gweithgareddau yn cynnwys ystyried materion moesegol, dyfeisio astudiaethau ymchwil, casglu a dadansoddi data gan ddefnyddio offer electronig, llaw gyfrifiadau, a dysgu sut i gyfathrebu canlyniadau'r ymchwil mewn adroddiadau ysgrifenedig.

Dylai pob myfyriwr gwblhau 200 awr o waith ar gyfer y modiwl hwn ar draws y semester (gan gynnwys dosbarthiadau rheolaidd, ymchwil annibynnol, a chwblhau aseiniadau).

Assessment Strategy

-threshold -D- i D+Adolygiad gwael o’r llenyddiaeth, gyda llawer o wallau o ran cyflwyniad a chywirdeb. Defnyddiwyd ychydig o dystiolaeth i gefnogi’r pwyntiau a wnaethpwyd. Adroddiad ymchwil wedi ei ysgrifennu’n wael, gyda thipyn o wallau ffeithiol. Ychydig iawn o ganllawiau fformatio’r APA wedi eu dilyn. Dealltwriaeth wael o’r mesuriadau a’r ystadegau a ddefnyddir mewn meysydd gwahanol. Dealltwriaeth wael o’r cynlluniau arbrofol gwahanol. Ni ddengys unrhyw hyfedredd wrth ddefnyddio SPSS.

-good -B- i B+Adolygiad da o’r llenyddiaeth, gyda chyfathrebu clir, cryno, a chywir. Defnydd da o dystiolaeth i gefnogi’r pwyntiau a wnaethpwyd. Adroddiad ymchwil wedi ei ysgrifennu’n dda, gydag ychydig iawn o wallau ffeithiol. Canllawiau fformatio’r APA wedi eu dilyn yn dda.Dealltwriaeth dda o’r mesuriadau a’r ystadegau a ddefnyddir mewn meysydd gwahanol. Dengys y gallu i wahaniaethu rhwng cynlluniau arbrofol gwahanol yn weddol glir. Hyfedr iawn wrth ddefnyddio SPSS.

-excellent -A- i A+Adolygiad gwych o’r llenyddiaeth, gyda chyfathrebu clir, cryno, a chywir. Defnydd gwych o dystiolaeth i gefnogi’r pwyntiau a wnaethpwyd. Adroddiad ymchwil wedi ei ysgrifennu’n wych, heb unrhyw wallau ffeithiol. Canllawiau fformatio’r APA wedi eu dilyn yn wych.Dealltwriaeth gadarn o’r mesuriadau a’r ystadegau a ddefnyddir mewn meysydd gwahanol. Dengys y gallu i wahaniaethu rhwng cynlluniau arbrofol gwahanol yn glir. Hyfedredd gadarn wrth ddefnyddio SPSS.

-another level-C- i C+Adolygiad boddhaol o’r llenyddiaeth, gyda chyfathrebu eithaf clir. Defnydd boddhaol o dystiolaeth i gefnogi’r pwyntiau a wnaethpwyd. Adroddiad ymchwil wedi ei ysgrifennu’n foddhaol, ond gydag ambell i wall ffeithiol. Canllawiau fformatio’r APA wedi eu dilyn yn foddhaol.Dealltwriaeth foddhaol o’r mesuriadau a’r ystadegau a ddefnyddir mewn meysydd gwahanol. Dengys ychydig o allu i wahaniaethu rhwng cynlluniau arbrofol gwahanol. Dengys ychydig o hyfedredd wrth ddefnyddio SPSS.

Learning Outcomes

  • Cynnal adolygiad o lenyddiaeth perthnasol ac ysgrifennu cynnig ymchwil da sy’n dilyn canllawiau’r APA.

  • Dangos dealltwriaeth gadarn o'r ystyriaethau moesegol sydd ynghlwm ag ymchwil.

  • Dangos dealltwriaeth sylfaenol o dechnegau methodolegol fel mesuriadau ac arsylwadau.

  • Dangos dealltwriaeth sylfaenol o ystadegau a dulliau ymchwil gwahanol, a deall sut y cânt eu defnyddio o fewn meysydd gwahanol.

  • Dangos y gallu i weithio fel rhan o dîm drwy gyfrannu at astudiaethau ymchwil fel cyfranogwr.

  • Gallu defnyddio'r pecyn ystadegol SPSS yn hyderus: gallu mewnbynnu data yn gywir, rhedeg y dadansoddiad ystadegol priodol, a dehongli'r allbwn.

Description

Cynnig ymchwil. Pwrpas yr aseiniad yma yw eich cael i feddwl am sut i gynnal ymchwil. Dylech ysgrifennu 1500 o eiriau, a dylech ddilyn y canllawiau a roddir ar Blackboard. Mi fydd y cynnig wedi ei rannu i’r ‘Rhagarweiniad’ (Introduction) a’r Dull (Methods). Yn y rhagarweiniad, dylech roi trosolwg o’r maes ymchwil, a dangos pam fod cynnal yr ymchwil yn bwysig. Yn y dull, dylech sôn am bethau mwy ymarferol (e.e. cynllun yr arbrawf; y cyfranogwyr) er mwyn dangos sut byddwch yn cynnal yr ymchwil.

Ystyriaethau Moesegol. Mae dallt ystyriaethau moesegol yn bwysig iawn, yn enwedig wrth gynnal ymchwil seicolegol, neu ymchwil gyda phlant. Ar gyfer yr aseiniad yma, dylech ysgrifennu 500 gair am ystyriaethau moesegol gwahanol. Mi fydd trefnydd y modiwl yn cyflwyno ‘senario ymchwil’ i chi, a dylech adnabod, disgrifio, a thrafod pedwar ystyriaeth moesegol ar gyfer y senario.
