Bydd y modiwl yn dechrau drwy gwestiynu beth a olygir wrth athroniaeth crefydd ddadansoddol ac yn ystyried ei hanian erbyn dechrau’r 20fed ganrif, wrth adlewyrchu ar y modd yr etifeddodd foderniaeth y 19eg ganrif. Dyma’r cyd-destun y bydd amryw athronwyr yn siarad, megis Wittgenstein, ac yn sail i’r modiwl yma.

O fod wedi sefydlu’r cyd-destun yma, bydd y modiwl yn archwilio gwaith detholiad o athronwyr crefydd o’r 20fed ganrif, rhai allweddol a rhai llai adnabyddus, gan gynnwys William James, Paul Tillich, Mary Daly, a nifer o rai eraill. Bydd gwneud hynny’n dangos sut mae maes athroniaeth crefydd yn y Gorllewin wedi esblygu yn ystod yr 20fed ganrif ac wedi braenaru’r ffordd ar gyfer mewnwelediadau a syniadau newydd yn yr 21ain ganrif.

Bydd y modiwl yn gorffen drwy ddadansoddi treftadaeth athroniaeth crefydd yr 20fed ganrif a’i dylanwad ar syniadau diweddar yn y Gorllewin.

Assessment Strategy

Trothwy D / 40%> Mae’r gwaith a gyflwynwyd yn ddigonol ac yn dangos lefel dderbyniol o gymhwysedd fel a ganlyn: • Yn gywir ar y cyfan ond gyda bylchau a gwallau. • Gwneir honiadau heb dystiolaeth neu resymeg ategol glir. • Yn meddu ar strwythur ond yn brin o eglurder ac felly'n dibynnu ar y darllenydd i wneud cysylltiadau a thybiaethau. • Yn defnyddio ystod gymharol gyfyng o ddefnyddiau.

Da C- i C+ Mae'r gwaith a gyflwynir yn hyfedr drwyddo draw ac weithiau'n cael ei wahaniaethu gan arddull, ymagwedd a dewis uwch o ddeunyddiau ategol. Mae'n dangos: • Strwythur da a dadleuon a ddatblygwyd yn rhesymegol. • Mewn rhannau o leiaf yn tynnu ar ddeunydd a gafwyd ac a aseswyd o ganlyniad i astudiaeth annibynnol, neu mewn ffordd sy'n unigryw i'r myfyriwr. • Mae'r honiadau'n cael eu hategu'n bennaf gan dystiolaeth a rhesymu cadarn. • Cywirdeb a chyflwyniad mewn arddull academaidd briodol.

Daiawn -B (50%>) Mae'r gwaith a gyflwynir yn gymwys drwyddo draw ac yn cael ei wahaniaethu gan arddull, ymagwedd a dewis o ddeunyddiau ategol uwchraddol. Mae'n dangos: • Strwythur da iawn a dadleuon wedi'u datblygu'n rhesymegol. • Yn tynnu ar ddeunydd a gafwyd ac a aseswyd o ganlyniad i astudiaeth annibynnol, neu mewn ffordd sy'n unigryw i'r myfyriwr. • Cefnogir honiadau gan dystiolaeth a rhesymu cadarn. • Cywirdeb a chyflwyniad mewn arddull academaidd briodol.

Ardderchog -A (70%>) Mae’r gwaith a gyflwynir o ansawdd rhagorol ac yn rhagorol mewn un neu fwy o’r ffyrdd canlynol: • Meddu ar wreiddioldeb y mynegiant gyda meddwl y myfyriwr ei hun yn amlwg. • Darparu tystiolaeth glir o astudiaeth annibynnol helaeth a pherthnasol. • Mae dadleuon yn cael eu gosod yn eglur ac yn rhoi cyfnodau ystyried olynol i'r darllenydd ddod i gasgliadau.

  • Cymhwyso gwybodaeth briodol i archwilio'n feirniadol syniadau athronyddol allweddol am grefydd yn yr 20fed ganrif.

  • Dangos dealltwriaeth o natur a datblygiad athroniaeth crefydd yn yr 20fed ganrif.

  • Datblygu sgiliau allweddol i drafod athroniaeth crefydd yn effeithiol, megis dadansoddi, ymchwil annibynnol, meddwl beirniadol, ac ysgrifennu disgyrsiol clir.

  • Enghreifftio dealltwriaeth am y cysyniadau diddorol a ddatblygwyd a'r dulliau a ddefnyddiwyd mewn perthynas â materion yn ymwneud ag athroniaeth crefydd gan wahanol feddylwyr.
