Overall aims and purpose

  1. Addysgu myfyrwyr sut i gyfansoddi mewn modd strwythuredig a than gyfarwyddyd, gan ddefnyddio enghreifftiau o ddechrau’r 20fed ganrif fel arweiniad.

  2. Dangos sut yr esblygodd prif egwyddorion cyfansoddi, sef harmoni, rhythm, datblygiad motifaidd ac adeiledd, yn ystod rhan gyntaf yr 20fed ganrif a dangos eu perthnasedd i gyfansoddi yn y 21ain ganrif.

  3. Cyflwyno offer cyfansoddi i fyfyrwyr, fel y gallant eu defnyddio fel y mynnont.

  4. Addysgu myfyrwyr sylfeini offeryniaeth a cherddorfäaeth, ac edrych ar ysgrifennu lleisiol.

  5. Trafod materion cysylltiedig â gosodiad a chyflwyniad sgôr, p’un a fo wedi’i phrosesu neu wedi’i hysgrifennu â llaw.

Course content

Bydd y cwrs hwn yn cyflwyno’r myfyriwr i rai o’r technegau cyfansoddi a ddefnyddiwyd yn yr 20fed ganrif, gan ddangos sut mae harmoni, rhythm, adeiledd, offeryniaeth a thraw wedi datblygu. Rhoddir y cyfryngau sylfaenol i’r myfyrwyr ar gyfer cyfansoddi. Bydd y cwrs hefyd yn ystyried offerynnau penodol a’u nodweddion arbennig, yn ogystal ag ysgrifennu ar gyfer y llais. Yna anogir y myfyrwyr i roi cynnig ar y technegau yn eu cyfansoddiadau hwy eu hunain.

  2. Erbyn cwblhau y modiwl dylai'r myfyrwyr fod yn medru cyfansoddi mewn arddull bersonol, wedi ei seilio ar fodelau’r 20fed ganrif;

  3. Erbyn cwblhau y modiwl dylai'r myfyrwyr fod yn medru ymdrin gyda chysyniadau sylfaenol ynglyn ag offeryniaeth/cerddorfaeth, trwy ysgrifennu’n idiomatig ar gyfer offerynnau/lleisiau penodol;

  4. Erbyn cwblhau y modiwl dylai'r myfyrwyr fod yn medru datblygu syniadau a deunydd cerddorol yn hyderus i greu cyfansoddiadau sy'n arddangos elfennau dychmygus a chysondeb mewn arddull a ffurf.
