Overview

Mae'r modiwl hwn yn eich galluogi i gynnal prosiect ymchwil annibynnol dros sawl mis, dan arweiniad ymchwilydd / ymarferydd creadigol profiadol. Yn dibynnu ar eich rhaglen astudio, gall y prosiect fod ar ffurf traethawd hir estynedig, cyfansoddiad (neu bortffolio) neu ddatganiad.

Yn ystod yr haf byddwch yn gweithredu'r cynllun prosiect a gynlluniwyd yn y modiwl Ymchwilio i Gerddoriaeth. Byddwch yn dewis y pwnc yn seiliedig ar eich diddordebau a'ch sgiliau eich hun, a byddwch yn gweithio o dan arweiniad goruchwyliwr profiadol.

Mae'r prosiect yn eich galluogi i archwilio'n llawn bwnc rydych chi'n angerddol amdano a dweud rhywbeth newydd a gwreiddiol amdano.

Byddwch yn ennill sgiliau hanfodol rheoli prosiectau, trefnu, ymchwil, cyfathrebu a lledaenu.

Mae'r prosiect yn cael un asesiad. Mae natur hyn yn dibynnu ar eich rhaglen astudio: traethawd hir (neu bortffolio o eitemau cerddolegol), argraffiad beirniadol, cyfansoddiad (neu bortffolio o weithiau), datganiad neu ddarlith.

Mae cwblhau Ymchwilio Cerddoriaeth yn llwyddiannus yn rhagofyniad ar gyfer y modiwl hwn.

Bydd cynnwys y modiwl yn cael ei bennu gan faes astudio dewisol y myfyriwr (Cerddoleg, Cyfansoddi, Perfformiad) a maes diddordeb.

Canllawiau Fformat a Hyd: • Traethawd Hir (MA Cerddoriaeth, Cymdeithas a Diwylliant): tua 12,000 o eiriau. Gellir lleihau'r cyfrif geiriau os yw'r traethawd hir yn cynnwys deunydd graffigol neu dablau helaeth (e.e. dadansoddiad Schenkerian). Mae hefyd yn bosibl cyflwyno portffolio o eitemau cerddolegol. • Argraffiad (MA Cerddoriaeth, Cymdeithas a Diwylliant): portffolio o drawsgrifiadau nodiedig o weithiau y cytunwyd arnynt gyda'r goruchwyliwr (tua 500 bar fel arfer), ynghyd â sylwebaeth lawn ac astudiaeth ryddiaith o 3,000 o eiriau fel arfer. • Cyfansoddi (MMus Cyfansoddi a Chelf Sonic): un gwaith ar raddfa fawr neu bortffolio o weithiau o gwmpas sylweddol, gan arwain at tua 30 munud mewn perfformiad, gyda sylwebaeth o tua 2,000 o eiriau. • Datganiad (MMus Perfformiad): perfformiad cyhoeddus o tua 50–60 munud o hyd (ac eithrio egwylion), gyda nodyn rhaglen (dim mwy na 2,000 o eiriau fel arfer). • Darlith (MMus Performance, MA Cerddoriaeth, Cymdeithas a Diwylliant): perfformiad o tua 40 munud o hyd (ac eithrio seibiannau), gyda sylwebaeth ysgrifenedig o tua 2,000 o eiriau (mae'r perfformiad a'r sylwebaeth wedi'u marcio fel un eitem asesu).

Assessment Strategy

Trothwy (50-59%) Gwaith sy'n dangos gafael da ar wybodaeth ffeithiol, gyda gallu digonol ar feddwl cysyniadol, a rhywfaint o ymwybyddiaeth o faterion methodolegol (er yn gyfyngedig), ac yn dangos tystiolaeth ddigonol o ddull deallusol ar y cyfan, gyda mynegiant teg.

Da (60-69%) Gwaith sy'n dangos gafael cadarn ar y pwnc, lefel dda o feddwl cysyniadol, ymwybyddiaeth o fethodolegol a materion eraill, gyda thystiolaeth o graffter deallusol a mynegiant da.

Rhagorol (70%+) Gwaith sy'n dangos gafael trylwyr ar y pwnc, gyda thystiolaeth o astudiaeth estynedig, meddwl cysyniadol dwys, gwreiddioldeb dull a sgiliau cyflwyno rhagorol.
