Overall aims and purpose

Mae'r modiwl hwn yn darparu sylfaen mewn theorïau mentora a chynorthwyo plant a phobl ifanc yn effeithiol. Mae'n trafod yn feirniadol hanes mentora a chynorthwyo, gan ddefnyddio tystiolaeth ymchwil gyfoes i ddisgrifio arfer gorau cyfredol. Mae'n edrych ar arwyddocâd cymhelliant, gosod amcanion a dealltwriaeth o'ch hunan, ynghyd â sgiliau gwrando ac iaith y corff wrth ddatblygu hunanymwybyddiaeth, dealltwriaeth a sgiliau'r mentor i helpu'r plentyn neu berson ifanc gyflawni ei amcanion. Ar ôl gwneud hyfforddiant i fentoriaid, bydd myfyrwyr yn cynorthwyo cyd-fyfyriwr er mwyn datblygu eu sgiliau mentora unigol a dangos dealltwriaeth o ystyriaethau damcaniaethol a rhyngbersonol o fewn cyd-destun moesegol. Bydd y myfyrwyr yn gweithio gyda'u mentai gan gynllunio chwe sesiwn cefnogi priodol gyda'r bwriad o ddatblygu hyder y mentai mewn meysydd academaidd.

Course content

Bydd y modiwl yn canolbwyntio ar ddatblygu dealltwriaeth o fentora, yn cynnwys hyfforddiant i fentoriaid, a fydd yn galluogi i fyfyrwyr gymryd rhan mewn cyfres o sesiynau mentora cyd-fyfyrwyr dan oruchwyliaeth gan arweinydd y modiwl. Bydd yn ymdrin â’r testunau canlynol:

• Hanes mentora a chynorthwyo; • Sgiliau allweddol ar gyfer mentora a chynorthwyo plant a phobl ifanc; • Dealltwriaeth o'ch Hunan; • Ysgogiad; • Nodi amcanion; • Dod â'r berthynas fentora i ben; • Ystyriaethau moesegol y broses fentora; • Profiad ymarferol o fentora cyd-fyfyriwr; • Ymarfer adfyfyriol

  3. Nodi'r plant a’r bobl ifanc sy'n fwyaf tebygol o gael budd o fentora a chynllunio rhaglenni priodol wedi'u seilio ar dystiolaeth iddynt.

  4. Dangos y gallu i ddatblygu perthynas fentora briodol eglur gyda chyd-fyfyriwr gan roi ystyriaeth drwyadl i ffactorau moesegol.

  5. Adfyfyrio ar eu profiadau dysgu eu hunain a’u perthynas gyda'r sawl maent yn ei fentora er mwyn gwella'u hymarfer.
