Overall aims and purpose

Disgrifiad o’r Modiwl – y Pwrpas neu’r Amcanion: Dylid nodi pwrpas y modiwl, ei le ym manyleb y rhaglen a’r hyn y mae’n anelu at ei ddarparu. Cofnodir hwn o dan y modiwl yn y Blwyddlyfr. Mae’r modiwl yn darparu cyfleoedd i fyfyrwyr ddysgu am yr agwedd reoli ar weithio mewn meithrinfa sy'n darparu gofal i blant hyd at 5 oed. Ym mhob semester bydd y myfyrwyr yn cael darlithoedd rhagarweiniol ac yna byddant yn treulio amser mewn meithrinfa i weld sut mae cymhwyso'r theori'n ymarferol.

Course content

Mae’r rhan gyntaf yn pwysleisio pwysigrwydd gweithio fel tîm mewn meithrinfa. Bydd yn rhoi cyfle i fyfyrwyr i ddysgu sut i greu amgylchedd sy'n rhoi gofal ac yn ysgogi plant a sut mae staff ac asiantaethau yn gallu cyfrannu at hyn. Edrychir yn fanwl ar swyddogaeth asiantaethau perthnasol ynghyd â’r cysylltiadau ag ysgolion cynradd. Bydd myfyrwyr yn edrych ar wahanol strategaethau adeiladu tîm a sut i gynnal asesiadau staff rheolaidd. Byddwn yn astudio dulliau recriwtio staff hefyd. Mae’r ail ran yn canolbwyntio ar sut mae meithrinfeydd yn gorfod cadw at reoliadau. Bydd y rhain yn cynnwys rheoliadau amgylcheddol, iechyd a diogelwch, a thân. Bydd yn rhoi arweiniad hefyd ar sut i reoli cyllideb a sicrhau bod y feithrinfa yn gwneud elw a sut i drefnu digwyddiadau marchnata a chyhoeddusrwydd Bydd yn rhoi arweiniad ar sut i gwblhau tasgau gweinyddol megis cynnal a chadw cofnodion staff a phlant. Mae'r modiwl yn canolbwyntio hefyd ar y Ddeddf Plant ac ar Safonau Cenedlaethol Estyn /Ofsted ar gyfer darparwyr gofal dydd.
