Overview

Prif nod y modiwl hwn yw datblygu sgiliau ieithyddol (llafar ac ysgrifenedig) athrawon, darlithwyr a hyfforddwyr i'w galluogi i ddefnyddio'r Gymraeg yn hyderus ar lafar ac yn ysgrifenedig, wrth ddysgu, asesu a chyflawni gwaith gweinyddol. Er mwyn cyflawni'r nod hwn, mae'r modiwl yn canolbwyntio ar ddulliau o loywi iaith yr unigolyn yng nghyd-destun ei faes a'i anghenion personol penodol ei hun.

The main aim of this module is to develop the linguistic skills (oral and written) of teachers, lecturers and trainers to enable them to use the Welsh language confidently, both orally and written, when teaching, assessing and undertaking administrative work. To attain this aim the module concentrates on methods of improving the language skills of the individual in the context of his or her own specific field and personal needs.

Learning Outcomes

  • Gallu cymryd cyfrifoldeb cynyddol am sicrhau cywirdeb eu hiaith eu hunain gan ddefnyddio adnoddau gramadegol ac arfau iaith cyfrifiadurol i'w cynorthwyo i wneud hynny. Take increasing responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of their own language, using grammatical resources and computer language tools to enable them to do so.

  • Gallu defnyddio terminoleg eu pwnc/maes yn hyderus. Use terminology in their subject/field confidently.

  • Gallu defnyddio'r iaith Gymraeg yn hyderus wrth addysgu, asesu a gweinyddu yn eu gwaith bob dydd gan ddangos ymwybyddiaeth o'r sgiliau iaith cymhwysol a'r gallu i'w defnyddio lle bo hynny'n addas. Be able to use the Welsh language confidently in teaching, assessing and administration in their everyday work, showing awareness of the applied language skills and the ability to use them where appropriate.

  • Gwybod am fethodolegau dysgu cyfrwng Cymraeg a dwyieithog a gallu eu defnyddio, eu haddasu a'u datblygu mewn sefyllfaoedd cyfrwng Cymraeg a dwyieithog. Know about Welsh medium and bilingual teaching methodologies and be able to use, adapt and develop them in Welsh medium and bilingual situations.

  • Ymwybodol o wahanol gyweiriau iaith (ar lafar ac yn ysgrifenedig) ac egwyddorion sylfaenol Cymraeg Clir a'r modd y dylid eu defnyddio yn ôl sefyllfa, pwrpas a chynulleidfa. Be aware of different language registers (oral and written) and the basic principles of Cymraeg Clir and how they should be used according to situation, purpose and audience.
