Overall aims and purpose

Bydd y cwrs yn galluogi athrawon i 1. ddod yn fwy cyfarwydd â rhaglenni astudiaeth y Cwricwlwm Cenedlaethol, ac i rannu eu profiadau gydag athrawon eraill naill ai yn eu hysgol hwy eu hunain neu mewn clwstwr o ysgolion, a chefnogi'r athrawon hynny; 2. cynllunio'n raddol o ddechrau i ddiwedd Cyfnod Allweddol, gan sicrhau fod ehangder a chydbwysedd y rhaglen yn briodol; 3. datblygu eu dealltwriaeth o ran natur addysg gorfforol a phwysigrwydd sgiliau rheoli'r corff fel sail ar gyfer gwaith ychwanegol yn y maes; 4. meithrin y sgiliau, y wybodaeth, a'r ddealltwriaeth ar gyfer addysgu ystod o weithgareddau ymarfer corff, a sicrhau eu bod yn defnyddio dulliau cytbwys yn gyffredinol; 5. defnyddio ystod o dechnegau addysgu priodol; 6. ystyried sut i asesu, casglu gwybodaeth ynglþn â chyraeddiadau'r disgyblion, a chadw cofnodion; 7. gofalu fod pob gwers addysg gorfforol wedi'i rheoli a'i threfnu'n dda, gan roi sylw priodol i ddiogelwch; 8. ymgyfarwyddo ag ystod eang o gyfarpar ac offer ar gyfer gwersi ymarfer corff, a'r dulliau cywir a diogel o'u defnyddio; 9. gwneud y defnydd gorau a mwyaf effeithlon o'r lle sydd ar gael ar gyfer addysg gorfforol, yn cynnwys: y gampfa, y neuadd, caeau chwarae, pyllau nofio, parciau a llefydd awyr agored eraill, a chyfleusterau hamdden y gymuned leol; 10. sicrhau fod pob disgybl, waeth beth fo'i ryw, gallu, cefndir ethnig/diwylliannol, neu anghenion addysgol arbennig, yn cael yr un ddarpariaeth a'r un cyfleoedd o ran addysg gorfforol; 11. deall y broses ynghlwm wrth sefydlu cysylltiadau gyda'r ysgolion uwchradd y mae eu disgyblion yn symud iddynt, y gymuned leol, a sefydliadau chwaraeon, a darparu'r wybodaeth angenrheidiol ar gyfer ymgeisio am gymwysterau hyfforddi sefydliadau chwaraeon cenedlaethol.
