Learning Outcomes

• Analyse techniques identified, relating to dose implications, imaging considerations, examination requirements, resources, patient condition/needs and consideration of other imaging modalities which may be relevant to examination of the area.

• Discuss the needs/modifications for techniques associated with specific patient groups related to patient demographic and disease process (psychological/physical). Undertake and participate in examination of patients in these groups.

• Reflect on clinical practice and undertake the radiographic techniques and utilise resources required for the projections/ examinations outlined in module content.

• Understand the principles and methods for the safe administration of contrast agents

• Understand the relevance of radiographic examinations and suitability of projections to patient condition, clinical history and image quality .
