Overview
Political Philosophy (Special Study) is designed for students who wish to specialise in political philosophy and explore the field in depth. This module provides students with the opportunity to develop their own independent research projects in political philosophy, exploring the key debates and theories in this field. This module is intended for post-graduate students who have a background in philosophy, political science, or a related field, and who wish to specialise in political philosophy.

-good -(B) Shows significant insight, offers sustained and relevant analysis, well researched and referenced and written with a clear structure and style.

Learning Outcomes
- To design and undertake a programme of detailed research leading to the written presentation of conclusions in the form of an essay
- To participate in curent debates concerning issues relating to philosophy and or religious studies.
- To read critically both primary and secondary texts relating to specific and abstract principles of philosophy and or religious studies
- To structure a complex argument, in essay form, relating to philosophical and or religious issues of contemporary concern
