Yn y modiwl hwn cyflwynir rhai o brif nodweddion hanes Cymru yn y cyfnod modern i'r myfyrwyr. Mae’n dangos sut mae datblygiadau cymdeithasol, diwylliannol, gwleidyddol ac economaidd Prydeinig a rhyngwladol wedi dylanwadu ar Gymru. Mae’n olrhain trawsnewidiad Cymru o gyfnod y chwyldro diwydiannol ymlaen i ddyfodiad datganoli ddiwedd yr ugeinfed ganrif, a thu hwnt i hynny.
